I did reply to the list, I am thinking we might want to contact our
network people, but I don't know what might have changed so I wouldn't
know what to ask them. A generic, what changed overnight would probably
be the best place to start since we connected yesterday. It may be on
our end since III can't duplicate the problem.

Hi Barb,

Did you reply to Peter Caton? I haven't heard back from III. Should we
contact IT re our network?

I would like to see if there are any similarities between sites
experiencing problems with Millennium freezing. Thus, I have a couple
of questions for those of us experiencing problems with Millennium
client freezing on Windows 7 (and XP).

What type of server is Millennium running on? We are hosted, so I am
not sure what we are running on.

What version of Millennium are you on? 2009B 1.4

What version of the JRE Version are you running on your workstations?
1.6.0_02

Computers are Windows XP Professional

We are running Millennium2009B 1.3 on an IBM server and using Millennium
client version 1.6.0_02.

Thanks.

This is interesting. In May 2011, we upgraded our Millennium hardware/OS
to an IBM RHELinux server. After that upgrade, we had ongoing
aggravating problems communicating between the Millennium and the Encore
servers until finally a network expert at III had our ITS clear the ARP
cache in a switch or firewall - some network device. That corrected the
problem. Is Millennium prone to more ARP problems than other apps?
