Re: [IUG] recs=

The recs= command specifies the load table the system should use when loading the record(s). The "b" load table (specified by the command recs=b) is the normal interactive loader used when someone exports a record from OCLC.

Subject: [IUG] recs=

We are trying to sort out some load table issues. Our staff will sometimes use recs=b in the 949 field to create bibliographic records during a load. This is not setting the data conversion table to bibs, it is actually calling our "b" load table.

I've seen documentation in csdirect that states the recs= specifies the data conversion table, and documentation that says that it specifies the load table.

Does anyone have any suggestions for how this works?
