Re: [IUG] Create list finding locs

Hi Harriet,

Try this:

LOC = web
and
LOCATIONS not exist

When a bib record has multiple locations a "Locations" field is created. If there is no "Locations" field that indicates that there is only one location in the LOC field. The search does work, even if my explanation is completely unreadable.

Take care,
Teresa

Subject: [IUG] Create list finding locs

Is there a way to formulate a query that will do the following:
I want to find bib records with only one specific loc in the field, not where it is one of several locations (multi).

For example, if I say loc=web, the results contain records the same as if I had requested loc "has" web.

I know that I can pull up list in Global Update and remove the multis from the list, but it would be nice to not have to do that step.

Any suggestions? Thanks.
