[IUG] SMS text message notices

We are again considering the possibility of sending text message
notices.

 

I would like to hear the experiences of anyone who is currently doing
this.  What kind of response have you had from your patrons?  I am
particularly interested in finding a way to deal with the size
constraint of the text message, as when we tried to do this, the
messages would end up split into 2 or more messages.

 

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
