[IUG] running list on checkin cards

Hello,
  I'm new to this list, so apologies if this has been asked before. I am
trying to run a list on checkin cards containing a particular staff note
(e.g. cards that contain a staff note having "022012" in them). How do I do
this? I tried running a list with record type set to "checkin and card",
but I'm not seeing a way to search on the "staff note" within cards.
