[IUG] Electronic claiming in Millennium serials module - crossposted
[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]
Hi Janet,
We implemented electronic claims on Millennium serials and Ebsco last
year. We are set up for EDI ordering & invoicing, so adding claiming was
pretty simple for us to do. Our Ebsco library rep came and met with us and
walked us through the process, which really helped.
I like how the electronic claiming works - I would say we have claimed on a
more regular & consistent basis now that we are using the iii claiming.
We do not claim as we check in - it got to be too many steps at once, so we
do claiming as a separate process using the claims mode.
Tricia

Hello,
I'd like to correspond with people who have print periodicals electronic
claiming set up between the Millennium serials module and EBSCO. We have
used the serials module for several years for holdings and check-in
management, but not for direct claiming. I'd like to know how it works for
others before investigating the possibility here.
Thanks very much,
Janet Bassett
