I talked to helpdesk and she said that this work if we upgrade to current version 2011. This was fixed on Oct 3rd. Believe we just cannot hide the column; have to disable the ratings completely.

We have ratings module. This appears in a column on the 'Checked out items' list under 'My Account'. However the ratings don't work from 'My Account'. How can I remove this column?
