[IUG] Size of "Mode" buttons on a Millennium login

Hello everyone

One of my colleagues has a new PC and Millennium has been reinstalled for her.   She has a sight impairment and the mode buttons on the left side of the Millennium login screen had been enlarged for her on her previous machine.  For some reason the mode buttons on her login are now the "standard" (smaller) size.  I don't understand why this should be, since I thought the font was specific to each login via the Login Manager and preferences selected.  I've experimented with the font editor, but it changes only the font on the main screen.   There must be some way of changing the size of these mode buttons.  I've looked in the manual, but cannot find how to make the mode buttons down the left side bigger.   I must be missing something pretty obvious, but if any of you can point me in the right direction, I'd be most grateful.
