[IUG] Star TSP700II questions

All, 

 

I'm working with a Star TSP700II. Thanks to this listserv I was able to
learn that like the TSP100, TSP700II needs III to turn on the auto-cut
feature. They did that and it works. 

 

I now have a couple of questions:

 

1.       I've noticed some statements while searching the archives about
trouble when using various brands of printers. Does this trouble apply
to models of the same brand? We do have many Star TSP743's out there,
and they don't need the auto-cut feature. Will having this feature
turned on affect those printers? Do I need to give attention to which
logins are being used with which model of receipt printers?  

 

2.       Does anyone have a special tip about getting our logo to print
at the top of the receipt? I have managed to make the logo print in MS
Word, but it won't print in Millennium.
