Hi All,
The company you're thinking of is Boopsie. We use them for our app and it works very well on iOS, Android, and Blackberry. We also integrated AirPAc into our app and will be using Encore Mobile as soon as possible. If you want to look at it our app is available in the app store and marketplace.

Lisa,
Thanks for the definition, it is definitely confusing to me. I am certain that III is aware of the needs to develop an app for iPhone, Android and Blackberry wraps for AirPac and Mobile Encore. I believe another vendor claimed to be doing this and that mobile catalog company also claimed to have direct connection to OverDrive.... for now, the name of that company escapes me.
Regards,
Samantha

Hi Samantha,
The apps menu bookmark is an icon that the user can add to their homepage by choosing "save to your homepage" when they go to bookmark your site. You provide the image file to III and they load it on your server.
Hope that helps,
Lisa

Ruth & Bob,
Thanks for the clarification. I got asked by the installation folks for an Apps Menu Bookmark icon, so immediately I thought iphone or blackberry apps.
Thanks,
Samantha

Hi Samantha-
We have AirPAC for smartphones as well. This is not an app that you put in
the iTunes store, it is a wapp (web application) that Innovative creates for
purchase. The way it works is that when someone with a smartphone (iPhone,
Blackberry, Droid, etc) hits our catalog (http://helin.uri.edu), the
software automatically recognizes this and directs them to the AirPAC.
There is nothing for the user to download or to do. It all happens
seamlessly through the software.
Having AirPAC, you do not need to worry about what platform the user is
coming in on (that's Innovative's job) and there is nothing for you to
create.
Ruth
