Thank you Sue, Shiok, and Angela!

Yes, I just needed to update the ending record number my list was searching.
I had no idea this behavior existed. My original existing search was made
before the record load I was searching against, so it had saved the ending
record number at the time of that search -- which naturally did not include
any of the records just loaded.

I was able to easily update by clicking on the Range, switching to something
else, then back again as Shiok suggested and the ending record updated.
Useful information.
