Hello
I think it has to do with the check digit. Try scanning the one for that.
What type of barcode are you using?

Subject: [IUG] Barcode Scanner Problems
Hello there, all you lovely people,
I have a barcode scanner - a Metrologic Voyager MS9520 - that is being
uncooperative. I have tried resetting it (unplug and replug) and
uninstalling and reinstalling Millenium on the computer it's connected to
without success. I went to the product website and found a number of codes
for reconfiguring or recalibrating the scanner, and I tried using both
"Enable Codabar" and "Enable Dual Field Codabar."
The result was that I was able to *either* check in materials but not check
out, *or *check out but not check in. I think which I was able to do (check
in or check out) depended on what I had open when I used the Codabar
barcodes. The error message I receive when I'm unable to scan a barcode is
"this index is not valid."
Does anyone out there know if this is an issue of which Metrologic code I
scan to enable, and which code I need to use? Is there something else I'm
missing here?
Thanks,
Megan
