FYI,
All of the sudden we began seeing this error pop up on a couple of Windows 7
machines running Millennium. III recommended reinstalling the software and
that didn't work. What did work was the following and I wanted to get this
fix on the innopac list for others that might see it...
From my pc tech - Joel:
For some reason in the iiirunner.lax file the line telling LaunchAnywhere
which Java virtual machine to use had an extra pair of backslashes in the
path value, which was causing Java to not be found. The correct line reads:
lax.nl.current.vm=C:\\Millennium\\jre\\1.6.0_02\\bin\\java.exe
The text was like this when the error was happening:
lax.nl.current.vm=C:\\Millennium\\jre\\1.6.0_02\\*\\*bin\\java.exe
I don’t know what caused it to be like that, just that when I took out the
extra backslashes the problem went away.
