ALIS has Item Status API. We are using it with Bibliotheca RFID
hardware/software. It provides an interface between Millennium and the RFID
client software to allow circulation stations to operate and set/unset the
security bit via Millennium without having to purchase individual SIP2 licenses
for each one.
