Hi Amelia,
I just tried changing part of my own email address in Mill Cat/Global Update and it worked.
I ran a list of patrons with the last name Coberly in Create Lists. Then I selected the list in Global Update. Toggled the display to Email Address. Under "Command Input" I selected "Change Variable-length Field" and entered the information into the Data fields. For example if I were going to change @Colorado.edu to @Colorado.edb - the data in the Find data box would be @Colorado.edu and the Replace data box would read @Colorado.edb.
Hope this makes sense.

Maybe I've been staring at this too long, but I *know* I did this several years ago when our domain name changed. How do you updated part of a patron's email address using global update? I've tried every way I can think of.
Thoughts? Suggestions?
