So, it appears this is happening to us, too.  I'm looking at the Management Info on Public Catalog Searches,  "Other", in alphabetical order, and see a bunch on May 13 (which was a Friday) around 1 a.m.
 
We do have an IT department on campus that I think will want to know about this.
