[IUG] Print template for 1"wide x 1.5" tall spine label only for the Zebra TLP2844-Z?

Has anyone printed a 1" x 1.5" spine label on a Zebra TLP2844-Z or similar
printer? I could swear I had a previous rendition of such spine labels
working in March, but I have not been able to get it to work since
installing the printer in the circulation work area. When I try it, I just
get a formfeed and a blank label. I was convinced it had to do with the
form height and width settings, and I've checked those settings in the print
driver several times. I've gone back to the principle of start simple - I
tried to build a form with no field data (I have a working wider label to
paste those in from later), just a box for the field and static data, to try
to get just the form size and field sizes correct. Whatever I do, I can't
get this simple form to work either. I know that the minimum printable width
on this printer is a little over 0.9 inches, according to the driver. I
then wondered if anyone else has printed so narrow a label on the Zebra. I
do have a 3.75 x 1.5 inch 2-part label working fine in our processing area.
