[IUG] Centralized library/association statistics gathering
[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]
Colleagues,
We are beginning to research the availability of software that will help us centralize the gathering, viewing, and reporting of library statistics for internal and external groups including ACRL, the IES Academic Libraries Survey, US News, and others.
What we envision is a software package (database?) that allows us to distribute data entry from a variety of public services points including reference instructional and directional transactions, collection development (collection usage statistics), and that we can use to centralize our ILS and electronic subscription statistics for reporting to external groups such as ACRL.
We would want to provide staff read-only views for their research as well as flexible monthly and annual reporting based on data of their choosing.
If you are aware of any such software package(s) (chances are one package won't do it all) please contact me off list. Responses will be summarized for the list.
Regards,
Ed
