[IUG] client freezing issues
[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]
Hi folks
We recently migrated our Millennium to a new hosted server running Red Hat Linux Enterprise 5 and also upgraded to the latest release 2009b
The latest Millennium client for windows was also installed on staff PCs
Since then we have seen random, periodic but persistent freezing of the Millennium client - typically the user will get an error message saying that the server is not responding and that the connection will have to be re set
Error messages in the irunner.exe window refer to the client getting no response from the server and a failure to re establish a permanent connection and then the client initiating a shutdown
This is happening even if the millennium client is being actively used - ie it is not caused by inactivity time out
Has anyone else seen this problem and more importantly was there a solution?
Thanks
