OK, the screen shots didn't come through. Sorry, but I guess the list
doesn't accept screen shots. But what they would have shown if they had
was my search in Show Info, which looked like this,
BIBLIOGRAPHIC CALL# matches 086.*|a
followed by a screen shot of that review file full of records after that
search was run, followed by a screen shot of one of the records in that
review file showing that it did indeed have a c-tagged 086 field in it.

Hmmmm, I don't know what to tell you. That always worked for me
before. And just to prove my point, I tried it again right now and it
worked great, at least in our system. I don't know if these screen
shots will come through, but here goes ...

number begins with 086, or a regular expression that would capture
those records. Neither of those solutions worked; they pulled up
