Valentina,
Hi. I thought that was you ("mattype icon gal") and over in the SpringShare Lounge.
Best of luck with your new career move. And thanks for the all you've done on this list and
for the mattype icons which I've contacted you about and used in years past.
Maybe you can get SpringShare to have a booth at IUG and we can say hi to you.
Take care.

Subject: [IUG] Farewell, IUG
Dear IUG colleagues,
I've been very inspired for the past 7+ years by the knowledge, talent,
creativity, and willingness to share that I've seen in this wonderful group.
IUG is a significant part of the reason for III's success, I'm convinced.
You won't recognize me as an active participant on this list, but some of
you may remember me as the "mattype icon gal"
(http://www.nova.edu/library/mayz/iug_icons.html), or by meeting at a few
IUG Conferences (which I've also loved attending).
As tends to happen in life, I've decided to move on in my career.
I am very excited to join Springshare, Inc. as the sales rep. for the
southeastern U.S. This is a great opportunity because I strongly believe in
the quality of their products and customer care philosophy, but also because
I can still be involved with libraries - just in a different capacity. If
your library is located in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina,
Alabama, Tennessee, or Mississippi, you'll be in my territory J
Should you need anything mattype-icon-related, the above URL (same as was
posted in the Clearinghouse) will remain active, but the contact person will
be someone else. We're figuring out how it will be handled after my last
day, which is a week from tomorrow (10/01/10).
Thank you all for the awesome people you are, and for all I've learned from
you!
Sincerely,
Valentina Mayz
