Sorry! I forgot that some manufacturers tend to segregate the POS
(point of sale) world from the rest of their line. My apologies; I
don't try to give out bad information as a rule. We use Citizens, and
they had the drivers themselves, but they are a POS company for the most
part.

Hello,
We bought couple Epson TM88IV receipt printers based on the
recommendation of this group.
At the time of purchase, we looked for the usb version, but they were
sold out. So we bought the parallel version, it did not come with
cables.
I went to Frys and bought the DB25 to DB25 cable, plugged into the pc.
Nothing happened, the computer did not detect it nor the software.
Has anyone experience this issue with Epson TM88IV before?
I appreciate any help anyone can offer.
Thanks,
Paul
Parallel printers are not usually plug and play like USB, so you have to
install the software manually. If it did not come with the printer (it
should have), you will have to download them from Epson, I expect.
