We had a similar problem. Express Lane checkouts would sometimes freeze during checkouts; subsequent patron would get the first patron's name & items listed on their checkout receipt. III created and installed a software fix last October which, as far as I know, has resolved the problem. For reference, our ticket number was c1162297.

Well - I have a similar story on Express Lane

Circ staff says the patron scanned the library card, brought up the correct name on the library card, but the checked out items were from the previous patron's checked out list. Very strange. I have not reproduced this.

We have out auto time out set to 30 seconds of no activity and the session ends itself.

We are using voice sound files for the correct scan of a library card - Welcome to Mentor Public Library
and there is a voice sound file for when they click Done

In the media room - Thanks for using the self checks, Did you remember to unlock your cases and check your discs?
In the Main library -Thank you for using the self checks
