We have also used Bursar Out for several years. Out process is very similar to Fred's, but we use SAP instead of PeopleSoft and librayr staff runs the interface program though it was created and is modified by our IT staff.

We've used the bursar out product for many, many years. We output our bursar information twice I week. I ftp it to our developers, who transform it in to data to be read by our PeopleSoft system.

It is still only available in the character based system. You can also pick up files from the bursars office and load them in your Millennium System.

Subject: [IUG] Bursar Out product

Anyone out there using the Bursar Out product? We want to be able to send the file created out of our innopac to the C: drive or S: drive on a computer so we can then get the file and open it in an Excel file. I have FileZilla on my desktop but haven't worked much with it. We want to send the Excel file to the cashier/Bursar's office so they can work with the patron fines.

Is this possible? Has anyone tried this? We don't want to purchase the software if it isn't going to work. I have a difficult time using fts on the innopac and any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Laurinda
