Re: [IUG] Spine labels from Gaylord

Hi Anne:
We use a 420, and I don't know how different it is, but on mine there is
a tension adjustment on the left side of the ink cartridge. This alters
slightly the gap between the ribbon and the head. You might be able to
adjust the gap enough to let the labels through more easily. Good luck,

Subject: [IUG] Spine labels from Gaylord
Hi folks,
We are having problems with our spine label printing from Millennium.
We use foil backed OCLC label style spine/book pocket labels from
Gaylord, and have for years. Our printers are Okidata Microline 320
Turbos.
With the latest batch, labels are peeling off the backing as the strip
is fed through the printer and gumming things up.
Has anyone else run into the same problem with Gaylord labels used in
the last few months? Please reply off list.
Thanks!
Anne
