Re: [IUG] WebPAC question

Bob,

Thanks for the explanation. I was asked the same question recently about
our catalog. We had a situation where "For whom the bell tolls" appeared in
the contents note of an "Arthur" juvenile video. You can imagine the
confusion.

The long story has to do with the 505 $t being in the "Note" tag group even
though indexed as a Title. So the system displays instead the first field
that is in the "Title" tag group, which in the cited case happens to be
Buffy.

I'll stop there.

All seven records have the specific title that was searched (that's
why they're in the results set), and the results are sorted
alphabetically by bib title:

buffy...
a guide...
a literature guide
max made...
where the wild...
where the wild...
where the wild...

The hit for Buffy doesn't display where the wild things are the way
hits 2-4 do because the title is in a 505 field (long story...ask III).
