Re: [IUG] patron information on Patron Record Display

Hi Youbo

At Edith Cowan University, we display name, expiry date and email address. We display the expiry date so that users can see if their registration is about to expire, and the email address reminds them of their university email, to which all university communication must be sent.

We used to display address, but this was removed due to privacy concerns.

Kind regards

Subject: [IUG] patron information on Patron Record Display

Our library recently has a discussion about what information should be
displayed on Patron Record Display at the circulation desk computers. I
was wondering if any library has patron's email and phone number
displayed. Is there any concern about the privacy issue?

Thanks
