Susan: YAY! Thanks for letting us know! I look forward to finding out
how it works for you! I suspected that there had to be some solution
out there, since surely other III sites use Pharos and block on expiry
date! Thanks again and kind regards, Eeva

Eeva,
We use Pharos with Patron API and are successfully blocking patrons
with
expired accounts. However, I don't remember if it was III or Pharos
that
made the date adjustment. I will investigate; just know that it is
possible!!

Subject: [IUG] PC Authentication and Patron API and the Expiry Date
Good morning! We use Pharos for our PC Authentication and we would
like
to block patrons from using our internet computers if their patron
account has expired. The Millennium Patron API offers up a 6 digit
date
(2 digits for the year). Currently, our Pharos requires an 8 digit
date: yyyymmdd and cannot read the 6 digit date. Has anyone else out
there encountered this problem and come up with a solution to this?
Thanks so much for any help you can offer! Kind regards, Eeva
