Subject: Re: [IUG] Sending Billing Notices by Email
We send a carbon copy of every email that Mil sends out to a special email account
I have this email address set-up with MS Outlook on a workstation in circulation and archive all the emails about twice a month - we do send a lot.
When a patron says they never got an email - I can search the archive folders by patron name or record number if that is on the notice. Usually I find it - and the patron has changed email addresses and not told us, or a staff has an unfortunate error in the email address field
We have another account that receives the bounce-backs but we have found we do not have
enough staff time to check it daily. For that reason, our Reply-to on our email notices is DoNotReply at mentorpl - (Some patrons were emailing us to renew their items after getting courtesy notices - and we cannot provide that level of service)

For patrons who deny receiving notices, is there a log that shows what notices were sent by patron? I have notice history turned on, but it lists totals by day.
