We have this turned on.  From the edit mode in a bib record you retrieve the record history from a menu option.  It tracks the initials and date of who created it, then who updated it.  It doesn't say what the change/update was, just that these initials updated the bib record on this date at this time.  Viewing record history has its own authorization so only staff who are authorized can view it.  It's not as helpful as we were hoping, but does tell us who is editing bib records if we find something wrong.  It does not cause any problems at all.

I can't answer this question as we don't have this feature turned on.
I'd like to hear from libraries using this. My questions are how does
this work? What is tracked, the staff editing the record and/or the
changes made? Does it cause any problems? I'd like to start using it.
