On our system, the log is at A > A > A.

Successful jobs look like:

091217060001 -----AUTONOTICES STARTED-----
091217060001 ---"Courtesy Notices - All Locations" STARTED---
091217060002---"Courtesy Notices - All Locations" ENDED---
091217060002 -----AUTONOTICES ENDED-----

Individual 'failed' notices look like:

090804060001 ---"Courtesy Notices - All Locations" STARTED---
dot i13290162 at 9cppo in use by system. Failed to update item overdue level.
090804060007---"Courtesy Notices - All Locations" ENDED---

The notice was sent, but the item record didn't get updated because it was busied at the time.

If there are no notices, the message might look like:

090416060000 ---"Courtesy Notices - All Locations" STARTED---
090416060001 No notices to print.
090416060001 -----AUTONOTICES ENDED-----

If the OD report hasn't been generated because of a failed backup or some such, you might get something like:

081226050001 -----AUTONOTICES STARTED-----
081226050001 Error: The overdue file hasn't been updated today.
081226050001 -----AUTONOTICES ENDED-----

We've been running Autonotices for about 8 months and those first two are the sum total of errors that we've seen. The third happened before we enabled any notice types for autonotices.

The one minor annoyance that I see in the log is that it automatically places itself at the first entry in the log and you have to go back a screen to see today's entry.
