Hi Joyce,
We have this happen occasionally and I've only had 2 instances where I
could not find a solution. We made a web page of instructions of things
to check for common email account providers. It is very difficult to
keep this up-to-date, but it often comes in handy.
http://www.cooklib.org/Learn/emailtroubleshooting.htm
Anyway, here are the instructions I have for MSN email accounts.
msn.com
1. Make sure enotice at cooklib dot org has been added to your address
book.
2. Add enotice at cooklib dot org to your safelist:
1. Click Options.
2. On the left side of the page, click Mail.
3. Click Junk E-Mail Protection.
4. Click Safe List.
5. Type enotice at cooklib dot org, and then click Add.
More information is available at

I hope this information helps!
Kind regards,

Subject: [IUG] Patron email notification problem
Hello-
I have a patron who has suddenly quit receiving email notices from us.
She
has an MSN account.
We
email courtesy reminders as well as hold and overdue notices. She is
not receiving any notices but has been previously. The only change WE
have made in our notice procedure is that we started using Millennium
for notices.
Yesterday I created "dummy" holds for her and sent one using Millennium
and one using the text-based version. She didn't receive either one and
nothing was in her spam filter.
I am stumped so thought I would turn to the greater wisdom of this group
for suggestions!
