[IUG] IUG Steering Committee Election Results

Good afternoon, Everyone,

I know you are all sitting on the edge of your seat waiting to hear the
results of the election for new Steering Committee members. The results are
in and tabulated and everyone has been informed. So, please join me in
congratulating

Pat Crawford (Bryant University : HELIN Consortium) is our new Chair Elect

Janet Crum (Oregon Health & Science University) will be continuing as the
Secretary/Treasurer.

And our two new Members-at-Large are:

Chris Brown (University of Denver)

And

Molly Beisler (University of Nevada, Reno)

If it takes a village to raise a child then it takes a lot of volunteers to
run a volunteer organization, which is IUG. I personally want to thank
everyone who ran for putting their name forward and be willing to take on
the responsibility of being on the IUG Steering Committee. You will see at
the upcoming conference that there are many ways we depend on volunteers. It
is a lot of fun, believe me. I hope that you will all consider running next
year for these positions. You won't regret it!

Congratulations once again to the newest members of the Steering Committee,
Chris and Molly, and to Pat and Janet for continuing on!
