[IUG] Looking for help with workflows

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I am hoping to audit our workflows in Collection Services (aka Tech Services). We are an average sized academic Law Library department with 4 staff and 2 librarians (including me the dept. head). We currently handle Acquisitions, Serials, Copy Cataloging and Gov't Docs/Supplementation with the 4 staff positions. We have just completed our 2nd year on Innovative here at Texas Tech. I know that there are things that can/need to be tweaked to be more efficient, but I am hoping to get some assistance from all of you out there.

Would you be willing to share how things work in your library? I am also interested in hearing from others who have completed similar projects about the actual process of auditing/revamping. I am in need of some fresh ideas on how to approach this project of possibly rearranging everything if necessary.

TIA for your input/ideas,
