...just tossing stuff at the wall...
Have you narrowed it down to Library Notices email and not email in general?
Do other activities that have email options work on your system like
printing patron, item or bib records to an "email" printer? Does your
WebOpac allow records to be saved and emailed? Do both on and off-campus
email addresses fail/work?

Brett Atkinson at III assisted us with email issues some time ago so I think
III has knowledgeable folks in this area. Our campus email admins worked
with III and III ended up tweaking something in the sendmail config on the
PAC that solved the problem.

While Innovative is trying to help us with this, because it's urgent I
thought I'd ask here if anybody can help.

A week or so ago, we began having a problem where no notices are getting
e-mailed, no matter whether they're auto or non-auto notices, and it applies
to everything--overdues, holds, courtesy, recalls. The setup looks right, I
hit "Prepare," it shows me the queue, I tell it to e-mail them, it seems to
do so and then asks if I want to clear the queue, etc.--in short, everything
looks quite normal. But nobody gets any notices.

We'd had no trouble until one day I tried to set up all our notices at auto
notices. That's the point at which they stopped getting delivered. However,
I put the setting back just as they had been (I think), but still they
aren't working. What puzzles me even more is not even courtesy notices are
reaching people, and those were always auto notices so I didn't touch those
settings.

Any ideas?
