[IUG] global update

Hello all,

 

A create list I made for searching extra space includes more than 10,000
item records. I want to use global update to delete extra space at beginning
of volume, call number, barcode in item record, however I do not have any
idea. 

Can anyone give me some clue? Thank you very much.
