I would imagine it's part of the compiled
code of iReports, which is not open source.
You don't need to write entire scripts to print
labels. Download one of the sample labels from the 
printwiki and study it.

Hello -

    I am trying to alter the spine label printing template by writing a 
'scriptlet' in Java and calling it from the Jasper reports template. But 
in order to do that, I need to find the 'net.sf.jasperreports.engine' 
classes so that I can put them into my class path so that I can compile 
my scriplet. I assume that the report engine is run by the Windows 
client, but I can't find any jars on my PC that contain those classes. 
So my question is "Where are the jasperreports.engine classes?"
