We have bought but have not yet implemented CASSIE for print management and patron sign-in. A lot of libraries I've talked with really like it, and it seems to be very configurable - and it's very affordable. So far I've been very impressed with their staff - asking the questions about the product while looking into it, and tech support while using the evaluation version of it. Here's a little thing someone wrote about it:

We're near the end of a 5-year contract for public desktop authentication and print/copy control. We haven't ruled out our existing vendor (CMS), but are looking at other vendors. We'd like to talk to libraries who are using and happy with a product and support from other vendors. Obvious criteria are that authentication of the customer against the Millennium database works without issue, including the ability to restrict access to a public computer based on customer type and fines amount. Current vendor has lots of flexibility in the parameters which control how long and often customers may login during the day and we don't want to lose any of that flexibility. We also prefer to minimize the need for customers to come to staff for time extensions, etc. - we'd rather build that into the parameters and let the system handle that.

For printing we currently allow coins, cash and print cards to which additional money can be added at the print stations. Current vendor also provides online accounts, which we haven't used but is something we want to pursue now with them or another vendor. We would also like the ability for customers to add money to those accounts using a debit or credit card.

If you have a contract you are happy with we'd love the chance to ask a few questions by phone.
