[IUG] Enhancements Reminder - 7 Weeks

Just a reminder about the upcoming IUG Enhancements submission deadline;
it'll be upon us before we know it!  Friday, January 9, 2009 - 5:00pm
(Pacific Time USA)

This site contains a dynamic pool of information that you will need in
order to work through the entire enhancements process from beginning to
end. We will add, change, delete as necessary.  We will listen to any
suggestions you have!

** RE-SUBMIT NO MORE **

 

Previous cycle requests will no longer need to be re-entered every
year... all 2008 ballot items and all 2008 requests that did not make it
onto the ballot have been rolled over into the 2009 cycle! The goal is
to alleviate the workload for reporters (you) and the FEs (us).  It'll
be much easier for everyone to use Mantis as a database of ideas rather
than a cycle of requests.

 

Our goal is for folks to use the notes field of ticket items and begin
to establish threads rather than having several new similar requests
scattered throughout the database. Even if it's only a "me too" note or
further thoughts on the request, everything is important and it's better
to thread than to enter a new request that's either identical or similar
in nature.

Monday, March 30, 2009 - Ballot published on IUG website and IUG voting
starts 

Friday, May 1, 2009 - IUG voting ends at 5:00pm (Pacific Time USA) 

Monday, May 11, 2009 - Ballot results posted to IUG website and sent to
