I don't know if you are using a barcode field or something else, but in
Web Options under Patron Record there is an option called MASK_BARCODE.
You may have to add it (by clicking the add button) if it is not already
there. Then set the value to MASK_BARCODE=false and you should be good

Subject: [IUG] "my account" feature in WebPAC pro
In the pverify_web.html file (My Account) in the WebPAC, everyone must
enter their campus-wide ID and then their pin. When the user types in
their campus-wide ID, it is masked so that they cannot read it.
Up until now, this has never been a problem. However, today, a student
typed in someone else's campus-wide ID instead of theirs and set a pin
number. When they got into the account, they realized it was not their
name at the top.
My questions are:
1. Is there a way to un-mask the ID in pverify_web.html. I am
unable to find a way in the manual - even with advanced customization
2. Has this been a problem for anyone else and if so, how did you
Thanks in advance for your responses!
