[IUG] subfield f in the call number field

Can anyone tell me if subfield f (prestamp) is a subfield that can be
repeated in the MARC field? Does anyone use it that way?

I have a call number field that looks like this:

c    082              |fAV|aDVD 060.42, P239

To make the Dewey number file properly, wouldn't 'DVD' also be placed in a
subfield f?  I am not a cataloger.  How would you code this call number?

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated,
