Hi there
I'm wondering if anyone can advise. My colleague is having problems
setting the margins for printing serials routing slips using a receipt
printer (CBM 1000).
For various administrative reasons, 3 different logins can all be used
to perform this operation, but the PC they use is the same one as it is
connected to the receipt printer.
Although the printer Page Setup has been set the same for each login, we
have found that the margins display correctly for two of the logins, but
not for the third one (ie the text is shifted to the right hand side of
the receipt paper so that half the text doesn't display). The Printer
options in Login Manager have been set as "Last used on workstation for
login" for all three.
Can anyone explain why the same page settings display differently in
different logins?
The settings are as follows:
Page setup:
Size: Receipt length 80 x 3276mm 48c
Orientation: portrait
Margins: default (25.4 for left, right, top and bottom)
Format:
Text (narrow)
Characters per line: 40
Lines per page: 60
Lines to eject: 9
Any advice gratefully received.
Many thanks
Louise Simon
