Speaking as one of the IUG "elders" who worked on this project way back in the early days of the IUG, this was the original attempt at collecting information from IUG member libraries about the software and hardware that they owned. The intent was to allow users to locate other users who had similar setups so they could share information.

We set it up at Innovative and had it added to member library telnet menus under the "Connect to another database" menu. It became outdated and unmanageable and Innovative pulled the plug on the access to it.

Said, since you are at a long-time member library, it was added but never removed when it ceased to exist. Other old IUG libraries may also find it hidden in the telnet menus. Have the helpdesk remove it.
