What, me worry? I currently have 4 Millennium 2006 sessions and 2
Millennium 2007 sessions open along with Outlook, two ssh sessions, 3
browser sessions and our help desk package. MS Office components come
and go. Antivirus lurks in the background. It may complain about virtual
memory late in the day but my creaky old P4 2.2 1G XP Dell handles this
stuff just fine.

Hi David - Are you able to run other programs simultaneously,
specifically Office (2003 or 2007), IE7, etc., at the same time? We have
Microsoft Forefront antivirus, too, and that seems to slow things down.
We have not upgraded yet because we're concerned that staff will not be
able to multitask while using Rel 2007. I would love to hear any
additional feedback on staff workstation performance using Rel 2007.
Thanks,
Alison

My PC is a Pentium 4, 3.2 GHz, with just 1 GB of RAM, and I have no prob
running Cat, Acq, or Circ. We are Rel 2007.

Would any site that has upgraded to Release 2007 please respond to this
message.
I would like to know if your PC users that have only 1 GB of RAM on
their PCs (Pentium 4, 3 GHz), that only run the basic modules, e.g.,
Millennium Acquisitions, Millennium Circulation, Millennium Serials,
etc., are able to do so without system performance problems with Release
2007.
We would like to know if we could get by with only adding RAM to the
higher end users' PCs , e.g., those that run Millennium ERM
simultaneously with other applications, instead of adding RAM to all our
PCs.
Thank you.
