Strange. Is your old terminal server a serial-to-server connection or is it ethernet-to-network-to-server? Either way, it should still be possible to connect it to any server.

If your old terminal server is serial-to-server and you don't need other terminal devices, you could get an ethernet-to-serial print server for just the printer:

There's a plethora of vendors for external print servers out there with differing levels of configuration options and models.

Also, if you are set on using impact printers, OKI is still making impact printers, many of which are compatible with their internal as well as external ethernet print servers. They end up being almost as expensive as networked laser printers when you add the print servers, but probably have lower operating costs over time.
