The function to replace live files with staging files in the text based
system does not work. We get an error message about not being allowed
to copy the files. Our IT people say there should not be any problem
copying the files. We've opened a call with III, but they seem stumped
so far. Does anyone have any ideas what that might be? Is there
another way to do that?
No ideas what that might be, but that option is so fraught with the
potential for disaster we just try to pretend it doesn't exist. If I
were to replace live with staging I'd download the files in staging
to my PC then upload them to live.
In the staging version most of the bib records don't display completely.
They only display the part of the record that appears before the item
information. They leave out the item info and the rest of the record.
Some records display fine. We haven't found a pattern in what displays
and what does not. When we look at the source code for the records that
display badly, the HTML just cuts off after display of the top of the
record. The system that creates the code dynamically just stops there.
It doesn't finish the record. Does anyone have any ideas about that?
We just discovered another problem. HOLDINGS_POS doesn't seem to affect
the display. When we change it, the record display doesn't change.
RECORDFRAME is not active.
My guess would be that the two issues above might be related, but
without access to your staging WebPAC it's hard to come up with an
informed opinion. Any chance you can have your IT folks open up port
2082 on your Innovative server to the outside world?
