Hi all,
I've been using the Tickler field in both order and checkin records to
send me email reminders. Last month, I ran across one that did not
trigger and send the email to me. There was nothing odd with the actual
Tickler that I could see so I sent it in. Innovative replied back
indicating the Tickler "got stuck" and there was a note in the logs
indicating the order record was busy.
On a hunch, I ran a review file looking for Ticklers with July dates and
came up with several more that should have been triggered but never
were. Those have been sent into Innovative, and they are reviewing them
to see if there is a common thread as to why these aren't being
triggered. Just today, I found another one for August 1, that is still
sitting in the order record.
This is simply an FYI. If you are using the Tickler field at your
institution, you might want to double check to make sure they are all
being triggered and sending the email reminders.
