- Subject: [IUG] Patron self-renew, even if overdue
Earlier this summer, one of our staff members had a question. We as patrons can self-renew items, even if they're overdue, at our public library (Greene Co.), but we can't do that at our university library. Can we change that?
I found the option in Innopac A > A > S > O > O from the main menu, line 33 (patron can renew own items), and changed it to "yes, even if overdue" and restarted the terminal, as directed. Actually, I did this a couple of days ago, and have restarted the terminal several times since then, and even restarted the server (after making changes to the WAM table)
This morning I had an overdue OhioLINK (Inn-reach) book. I tried to renew it, and got a message "patron has exceeded the maximum amount of overdue" (or something like that).
Is there something else I need to change so that our patrons can renew their own items, even overdue INN-reach items?
Thanks for any help.
