Re: [IUG] loan rule changes / notice numbers?

Hi,

I would not think it would be too big of a problem to change the message
of a notice. I have made that change though. Seems like it would just
use whatever message is linked in the field when they are prepared. We
do use one message for 1st and 2nd overdue notices without problems.

I was just looking at the documentation on changing loan rules, Page #
102615, and did not see any mention of the message text.

Good luck,

Subject: [IUG] loan rule changes / notice numbers?

It's been several years since we changed anything with our milcirc
notices, but we need to make a few changes at this time.

I seem to recall that if I change a notice number in a loan rule to
point to a new notice message (or point it to one already in use by
another loan rule), that I need to contact the Help Desk to "reset the
notices" before we print any more notices?

Am I remembering this correctly? Maybe I'm overlooking something, but I
haven't found documentation to verify this issue, although I've searched
the manuals, FAQ, and Customer Information pages, and browsed the IUG
listserv archives.

Sincerely,
