- Subject: [IUG] Lots of locked patron records
We have an ongoing issue of patron records being locked up when patrons
try to place a hold on the Web OPAC. At least 3 times a day, and
sometimes many more, we need to free up patron records that have been
locked, and get the following message in Free Records in Use:
Checking .pxxxxxxxx:
The record is in use by the system. pxxxxxxx was busied
by initial "" using login ""
on date 07 16 at 09:43:54 using "patroninfo -c75 -tREQUEST
07-16-08 09:43AM: Mad men. Season one [videorecording]
/ Lions Gate Television Inc.; create .pxxxxxxx ".
Clear record?
This doesn't happen with any particular type of record, so far as I can
tell - anything and everything can cause the error. Has anybody else
had this as a frequent issue? Have you been able to resolve it?
